The Chemical Industries Education and Training Authority (CHIETA) is a statutory body established by the Skills Development Act (1998), through the Department of Labour.
The Chemical SETA has been established to facilitate skills development in the chemical industries sector and ensure that the skills needs are identified and addressed through a number of initiatives by the SETA and the sector.
The CHIETA contributes to sustainable development by facilitating the provision of skills for growth in the Chemical Industries Sector.
