I’m Maz, a trauma-informed relationship and sexuality counsellor based in Linden, Johannesburg, offering support in both English and Afrikaans, with sessions available online worldwide. My practice provides a safe, compassionate, and sex-positive space for individuals and couples navigating relationship stress, intimacy concerns, trauma, and emotional overwhelm.
Many clients arrive feeling disconnected, anxious, or unsure how to move forward. I integrate talk therapy with Tension & Trauma Release Exercises® (TRE®) and Access Bars® to help regulate your nervous system and rebuild safety in your body. This combination allows for deeper emotional processing, calmer communication, and more secure connections.
With training in communication (Honours), ongoing post-graduate training in sexology (cum laude) and somatic trauma release, I bring both professional skill and lived experience as a partner and parent. My approach is warm, realistic, and rooted in deep respect for your unique story.
