The Gundle group also has the capacity to supply and install products such as dam, canal, tunnel, reservoir and waste linings through Gundle GeoSynthetics for the purpose of alleviating hazardous effects of an environmental nature. Furthermore, within the group lies Repi Colourants which distributes numerous liquid colourants to various production entities of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) polymer bottles throughout South Africa.
The Gundle group is aware of the environmental impact plastic manufacture has on air, land, water and individuals which is why employees are required to wear the necessary PPE kit when on site. In our attempts to manufacture plastic in the most environmentally beneficial way, Gundle group has a recycling plant within its operational framework not only to mitigate this impact but to reuse the recycled material during the plastics sheeting production process as well.
